Unless you’re new to DGH, you probably know that 2025 is a special year for Dr Graham’s Homes.
On Wednesday 24 September, the Homes celebrates its quasquicentennial – 125 years since John Anderson Graham opened his groundbreaking school for vulnerable children in the Himalayas.
To mark the occasion, our friends at the Global OGB Association (GO) have organised a tour package for anyone who wants to join the school celebrations in September.
The package includes up to seven nights’ hotel accommodation in Kalimpong, rail / airport transfers, and travel to and from the Homes for the programme of events between 21 and 24 September.

When and where is the trip?
It runs from Friday 19 to Saturday 27 September 2025 – from 5-7 nights, depending on how long you would prefer to stay. Accommodation is at the MAYFAIR Himalayan Spa Resort in the Kalimpong hills. (You can visit the hotel’s website here.)
What does the package include?
As well as daily transfers to the Homes for the main celebrations, it includes:
- 5-7 nights single or double accommodation
- Daily breakfast
- School visitor pass (subject to DGH approval)
- Daily transfers to the school (21-24 Sept)
- Optional entertainment and social events at the hotel
